About Cottage Farm Genetics
Cottage Farm Genetics was designed, built and is managed by Wesley Klipfel. Wesley is a native of Colorado, who has an extensive background in both male and female reproduction from Colorado State University. Since its inception of April 1990, under the direction of Wesley, Cottage Farm Genetics has continually proven to be a leader in the area of reproduction. Wesley has over 30 years of experience working with all areas of reproduction in cattle and other species. He has always welcomed the challenges presented by working with donors (bulls and cows) exhibiting reproductive performance problems. Cottage Farm Genetics has proved Wesley’s abilities to get “problem” producing animals to come back into production in over 80% of cases presented. Being a smaller facility allows more detailed attention to each animal whether it is a bull or donor cow.

It is the high standard of service and quality that has helped Cottage Farm Genetics’ customer base grow each year. Klipfel estimates that over 60 percent of their business is from referrals from satisfied customers.
“We have very loyal clients,” Klipfel says, “and we try to do everything they expect to maintain that loyalty.
That is the bottom line for us…. if our customers want something done we try to find a way to do it!” (SATISFACTION)
